How do IRC campaigns work?

Instant Redeemable Coupon (IRC) campaigns require coupons to be shipped to Observer, who must then place the coupons in a store for other customers to redeem. Once you sign up to complete an IRC opportunity at a specific store by accepting and submitting an IRC SIGN-UP/RESERVATION Opportunity, Observa mails physical coupons for these specific products to you.

 

Once received, you would then accept the IRC PLACEMENT Opportunity that has been reserved for you and follow the step-by-step instructions in the opportunity and place them in the store to be used by other customers. Please note that you will never be mailed anything from Observa that you do not expressly ask to have mailed to you.

 

I received a notification that my IRC opportunity expired. How could I complete the opportunity before the materials were shipped to me?

What likely expired was the IRC Sign-up/Reservation opportunity, not the IRC Placement. Make sure you accept, fill-out and submit your IRC Sign-up opportunity to avoid this issue.

 

How long does it take to receive the IRC coupons in the mail?

It typically takes 7-10 business days after you sign-up for an IRC opportunity to receive materials. Please make sure that the mailing address you provide is accurate to ensure you receive the shipment in a timely manner. If you have not received the shipment by then, feel free to reach out to us at support@observanow.com to let us know.

 

How much time do I have to complete the opportunity once I’ve signed up?

You have 5 days from when you receive your IRC materials to complete the IRC Placement. If it has not been completed by then (and you haven’t let us know that you haven’t received the shipment), you will no longer have access to the opportunity and you may not be asked to complete IRC opportunities in the future.

 

I haven’t received my IRC materials yet. Can you send another shipment?

We do not have enough materials to send secondary shipments, so if your materials are lost in-transit, you will likely not receive them and cannot complete the IRC Placement.

 

Can you provide a tracking number?

Campaigns that offer tracking info will send you an email with this information when your materials ship. If you do not receive this email, then there isn’t a tracking number for your shipment.

 

I don’t see my IRC Placement opportunity in my Observa app.

If you still do not see the opportunity, completely close the app and restart it to see if the location list refreshes with the opportunity. 90% of the time this solves this issue. If that does not work, let us know so that we can investigate further. When doing this, make sure to send us a screenshot of the Observa map in the area where your opportunity should be located to help us further determine what the issue is.
